Hello and Welcome!

Sorry for the delay this month, dear subscribers. Motherly duties have taken precedence in that my youngest has been quite ill, but is now home from the hospital and on the mend. Back to our regularly scheduled program...

This (belated!) issue of Birthing Blocks is an interactive one. It addresses the issue of placental problems and their impact on natural birth. You can also give input on your desire for online birth education courses. On a lighter note, take a minute to view or share belly pics of your pregnancy.

Enjoy!

Pregnancy Portrait Ideas

Having pregnancy portraits taken is a wonderful way to preserve the memories of your pregnancy for you and your family. What child doesn't wonder about their birth story? I've dedicated a page to generating ideas for unique portrait ideas. Scroll to the bottom to see what others have contributed or to rate and commment on their photos. Better yet, upload your own!

Online Birth Course

While many quality childbirth education courses exist, some families are unable to access them due to location, cost, or scheduling. Some families, such as those in the military or those overseas who don't speak the native language, may also have limited options.

I've been toying with the idea of creating an online birth education course for those families who have limited options for taking formal courses or those who don't feel comfortable sitting in a crowed room of strangers discussing their cervix;-)

Here's where you come in...what are your thoughts? Would you be interested in an online option??? You could prepare for your natural birth from the comfort of your own couch.

I've created a poll for you to vote yeah or nay on a variety of course options - number of classes, topics covered, frequency of classes, etc. Stop by and give me your feedback, or feel free to drop me a line on my contact page.

Happy Birthing!
