Natural Clip of Childbirth

Each clip of childbirth is graphic in nature.   They are both excellent examples of natural birth, the first a home waterbirth and the second a hospital birth.

The first clip of natural childbirth conveys the true meaning of a natural birth.  Natural childbirth is not about "being a hero/martyr" or proving anything to anyone.  Choosing a natural birth is choosing to trust your body in its greatest work, the purpose for which it was specifically designed.  There is no drama here.  Watch as this family is gently united with no interventions - no rubbing, no cord blood clamping, no stress of any kind.  This baby is caught by her own mother in the privacy of her own home.  You'll see nothing but a calm, peaceful birthing as this woman trusts her body each step of the way.

The next childbirth video depicts the slow, controlled delivery of a natural birth in a hospital setting.  It's also indicative of common hospital practices such as external fetal monitoring which can be road-blocks to a natural birth.  However, these interventions  can be overcome by knowing your options and being informed on the benefits of natural birth.  I've been in contact with the mother of this video - she chose to shave, walked during birthing, pushed upright and only had monitoring during pushing.

Both videos show visible proof how comfortable and peaceful a natural birth can be when a mother trusts her body and is supported by her caregivers to fulfill her birthright.
