My Mother-in-law gave me the idea to take pictures as I grew as she was a 3 hour flight away from us. Get your partner to take your picture and while you show how far along you are by using your fingers. Do it on the same day of every month.

Well, everyone does have their own ideas of expressing the happiness and sharing it with the dear and near. I really liked this idea that you have adopted and certainly is a sweet one, which others could try out.

Great idea!
I'm also a pregnant woman.
Wish I had started taking photo my myself since my 1st month, but then, I only knew about this today (I'm on my 4th month now).

My husband and I talk about this when it's time for us. An idea is to always stay in the same place, wearing the same thing, posing the same way (maybe take this photo after the one where you use your fingers to say the months).

After the last photo, you can put them all together and make it into a very fast slideshow (or any other way) and actually watch the belly grow like a movie...
